Game Description: It finally makes it’s long awaited appearance for the Android. Bloons Tower Defense 4, the ultimate td game has been released and droid fans now get to play the biggest td flash game on their mobiles and tablets.

Early signs are showing some users are having force close issues on their Android devices, hopefully this problem will be rectified with updates by Digital Goldfish Ltd and Ninjakiwi.

The game currently supports the following screen resolutions:

• 480 x 320
• 800 x 480
• 854 x 480

Either way you will have to tilt your screen to play the game on your mobile.

We believe this version to be identical to the iPhone version which means the game features a mixture of tracks from the flash version as well as plenty of fresh content exclusive to the mobile phone version! So if you liked the desktop game you definately need to get your hands on this one.

Game Description: Tap n Pop your way to the highest score on your iPhone or iPad in this fun match the same colour balloon game similar to Balloon by Spigo. Instead of revealing birds like in Spigo’s balloon game, you reveal gifts. You must reveal all the gifts to move onto the next level. You can also rearrange your balloons and get out of trouble using the pin!

Tap twice! Once to make the bunch of the same coloured balloons glow and second to pop them. The balloons below the popped ones will then move up and reveal a gift if there’s no more left to cover it.

The pin is a godsend in the game, so is your ability to rotate the balloons to rearrange them. Both however are limited in the game. A pin can be used to remove an annoying single balloon that could be in your way from making a larger bunch of the same colour to clear. Pins are a rarity in the game so save them for a vital moment!

Rotations on the other hand are not as rare, you will collect a new one to use by completing every round of the game. But once all your rotations are used up, rotating the phone or device screen will merely change the stack of the balloons but not the order!

We like Tap ‘n’ Pop, it doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not, on the contrary the developers liken it to Bejeweled, Tetris, Poppit and many other games that use a familiar concept. What it does do on top is add a few new ways of playing the game when you get stuck which gives it a little more of an edge compared to it’s brothers.

Lollipops very much like Angry Birds delivers nothing new in terms of concept but everything in terms of presentation and game play to give casual gamers a great puzzle popping fix over and over again.

Right now as of the date of this article, the game is free in it’s promotional period but could well go up in price at any time.

With three modes to play in Lollipops racks up the highscore competition on iOS. Play in classic, zen or insane modes with four sets of lollipops to choose from with different requirements.

With Bloons Tower Defense 5 already launched in December for the desktop, how long will it be before Ninja Kiwi and Digital Gold Fish create the game for the iPhone and iPad market?

BTD 4 for iPhone has received an average rating by thousands of players of 90% and the app has been bought hundreds of thousands of times through the iTunes marketplace so we could not imagine Ninja Kiwi not also releasing BTD 5 on the iPhone and iPad.

If they do that would also mean fresh content for mobile and tablet users. BTD 4 had loads of new tracks made especially for the iOS version and we could not see Ninja Kiwi not creating fresh content for number five.

Game Description: In this brain teasing balloon popping game for the Android (not to be mistaken for a cheap unrelated version by the same name on iOS/iPhone devices) your aim is to pop the same coloured balloons and create the correct sum out of those balloons to match the magicians request.

Balloons Math Magic not only challenges your colour coordination but also your maths skills and reflexes. This combines three different challenges into one unique puzzle popping game. It has a similar feel in it’s quality to Balloon by Spigo but then adds two extra layers of challenge on top for good measure.

We love the graphics of the game and the fast paced timer that doesn’t allow you more than a matter of seconds to find the right equation by bursting the right balloons. The more balloons you pop in any one equation the more points you will add to your high score.

The magician reveals his request on the left of your screen right after each equation has been solved. If you don’t solve the equation in time, it’s game over and this will come sooner than you think!

Game Description: In Spigo’s balloon you have to pop as many of the same colour balloons as you can in order to clear the screen as much as you can of all the balloons. Naturally there will be some balloons remaining at the end of each round, so the key is to choose wisely which balloons to pop first in order to limit the left overs!

Spigo’s balloon game is a fun casual balloon popper with great visuals and sounds alike on both iOS and Android devices. The more balloons you pop the more birds are freed from the balloons and the higher score you gain. How long you take also effects your score as their is a timer for each level.

If we were to recommend one pick up and play balloon game which only takes seconds (not even minutes) to get into whilst offering a good enough barrel of fun, this would be it. There is a fair difference between the ratings awarded by iOS users and Android users so we have decided to give the game our own rating (which we don’t usually do).

We would tend to lean more towards the Android rating having played this game ourselves on many occassions. In which case we have rated it at 83%.

Game Description: Destroy balloons in the ultimate mobile phone and tablet tower defense game. In Bloons Tower Defense 4 game you can deploy a wide range of explosive towers to fight off the balloon invasion.

Balloons come in the form of everything from lead balloons to large blimps containing hundreds more balloons.

The game takes most of the features that were introduced into the flash version.

BTD 4 for iPhone has a unique ranking system which allows players to build up experience to purchase new towers as well as a ranking and medal award system for the three difficulty settings for each track. Which means whether your an easy going player or a hard core skill player there’s a challenge for everyone.

Some of the tracks are classics taken from the online flash game whilst others are brand new and exclusive to the iPhone! Which means even if you have played and exhausted all the options and challenges in the flash version,  you can still enjoy a load of new tracks on your phone.

Each track has a total of 75 rounds which you will need to complete to earn the gold medal. Yet there are three gold medals to win for each track on each of the three difficulty settings. If your a seasoned BTD player you can just go straight for the expert challenge.

Finally there are some special bonuses that you can unlock by completing all the levels but we won’t spoil the surprise, you will have to try to get through all the tracks to find out what they are, enjoy!
