Balloons Tower Defence 4 Expansion: Walkthrough – Beginner Track – Hard

This walkthrough utilises the Beginner track of the game with the difficulty setting to “Hard.” By following this walk through, this level can be defeated without any lives lost.

Initial Set-up of Game

The road has been broken down into twenty-six segments. Each is numbered, beginning with Segment 1, where the bloons enter and ending with Segment 26, where the bloons exit, causing loss of life.

ŸPlace a Tack Shooter (Tack Shooter 1) on the grass between Segment 10 and Segment 12; this is the most effective weapon in this early stage.

This walk through will get you through this stage, however, do not expect everything to fall exactly into place. You may find that some Bloons pass through on levels that you do not expect, you may also find that where I have entered ‘lay down spikes’ there is no need to, so you need to use your brain as to when you should lay down the spikes and/or pineapples.

After level 75, you will realise that the game will allow you to continue in free-play mode. You should always continue as you can build your rank, which allows you to unlock all of the upgrades available.

With a layout like above on any setting, you should be able to complete all of the maps on the expansion. Firstly laying down a solid defence is imperative, then moving on to building some solid money income from banana plantations. After this, building cannons, with glue gunners and super monkeys will allow you to defeat the harder maps.
